Margaret Thomson (Teedale) (1884-1970) was born on Rose Hill Farm near Leith Ontario.

Margaret was named after her mother. Members of the Thomson family were musical each playing a different instrument, she also painted along with her brothers George OSA. (1868-1965), Henry, Ralph, Fraser and her renown sibling Tom, who's Algonquin Park studies inspired the Group of Seven.

Margaret died in Toronto in 1979.
