Albert Mead Pattison 1887-1957 was born in Clarenceville, Que. Following studies in art and architecture at McGill University, he worked part-time as an illustrator for the Montreal Gazette, whilst developing his painting technique. He exhibited at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts several times. Quebec's eastern townships were the location for many of his paintings. He died at Hudson at the age of 70.
